Preview: Buffalo Bison vs. Lexington Eagles
After two games on the road, Buffalo is heading back home. They will take on The Lexington Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lexington took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Buffalo, who comes in off a win.
Buffalo never got on the board in their matchup two weeks ago, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Florence last Friday. They blew past the Buffaloes, posting a 47-7 victory on the road.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Lexington's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were outmatched by Rogers at home and fell 42-14. Lexington was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.
Although Lexington took the loss, they still got scores from Mason Biehle and Owen Rhodus.
Buffalo's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Lexington, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
Buffalo might still be hurting after the 35-12 defeat they got from Lexington when the teams last played back in November of 2022. Thankfully for Buffalo, Daylon Washington (who rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 54 receiving yards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
