Idabel and Eufaula are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Warriors will host the Ironheads at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Idabel put up the most points they have all season on Thursday. They blew past Locust Grove 54-0. The win was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won three games in a row.

Jashawn Dixon had a dynamite game, rushing for 143 yards and one score on only seven carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Mack Dixon, who rushed for 51 yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Idabel was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 364 rushing yards. They are 3-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Idabel didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Davion Byrd and Jordyn Lewis. Lewis got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Eufaula, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Stigler by a score of 49-42 on Thursday.

Idabel now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Eufaula, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Idabel beat Eufaula 37-27 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Ironheads' Peter Lee, who rushed for 258 yards and three TDs while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Warriors still be able to contain Lee? There's only one way to find out.
