Soccer Recap: Soledad Comes Up Short

Soledad lost against Greenfield back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Soledad Aztecs might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Greenfield Bruins an easy 3-0 win. That's two games in a row now that the Aztecs have lost by exactly three goals.

Soledad is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Greenfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-1-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Soledad will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Carmel at 4:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Greenfield will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Palma at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Greenfield will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
