Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wheeler). They blew past the Baldwyn Bearcats 21-6 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won three in a row.

Wheeler now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Baldwyn, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Wheeler will head out to challenge Mantachie at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Wheeler is facing Mantachie at the right time seeing as Mantachie is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Baldwyn, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Baldwyn Bearcats face off against Pine Grove Panthers at 10:15 a.m. on March 14th. They have given up an average of 12.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
