            Baseball Preview: Plymouth Bobcats vs. Bow Falcons        
        
		
        
        
            The Plymouth Bobcats are taking a road trip to  square off against the Bow Falcons  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Plymouth is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4  runs per game  this season.
On Monday, Plymouth earned  a  7-4 victory over Laconia. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Sachems recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive  win against them.
 Noah Shaw was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. Plymouth is undefeated when  Shaw allows three or  fewer  hits, but 3-5 otherwise. Shaw was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.

 In other batting news,  Jaxon Rineer was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases and two  runs. Those  two  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Kyle Dodge, who  got on base  in two of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run.
 Bow came out on top against Hanover  on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run first inning. The Falcons' pitchers stepped up to hand the Bears  an   11-0 shutout. That 11 run margin sets a new team best for the Falcons this season.
 The  victory made it two in a row for Bow and  bumps their season record up to 6-2. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Plymouth, they now  have a winning record of 6-5.
 Plymouth suffered a grim  10-0 defeat to Bow  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024. Can the Bobcats avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
