Baseball Game Preview: River Rouge Panthers vs. Lincoln-King Academy Eagles

The River Rouge Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Lincoln-King Academy Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. River Rouge has given up an average of 8.2 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

River Rouge came up short against Crestwood on Saturday, falling 15-5. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dakari Goodman was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in both of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Aidan Douthett also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Lincoln-King Academy suffered their closest loss since April 8th on Friday. They fell just short of University Prep by a score of 12-10.

Lincoln-King Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for River Rouge, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

River Rouge took their victory against Lincoln-King Academy when the teams last played last Wednesday by a conclusive 20-5 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
