Soccer Game Preview: Whitney vs. Oak Ridge

The Whitney Wildcats and the Oak Ridge Trojans will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

If Oak Ridge heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Whitney took over last week. Whitney came out on top against Del Oro by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

They hit Del Oro with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nick Springsteel, Lucca Bainotti, and Dante Dukes.

Meanwhile, Oak Ridge and Granite Bay finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Thursday.

Oak Ridge's draw makes their record 1-1-2 this season. As for Whitney, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0-2.
