Basketball Game Preview: Wall Eagles vs. Lyman Raiders

Wall is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Lyman is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Wall Eagles will welcome the Lyman Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Wall knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matchups -- so hopefully Lyman likes a good challenge.

Last Thursday, Wall was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 66-61 to Hill City. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (58), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Lyman strolled past New Underwood with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 70-52.

Wall's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Lyman, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.

Everything went Wall's way against Lyman when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as Wall made off with a 72-46 victory. Does Wall have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lyman turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
