The Princeton Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Plano East Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given how much these teams ran up and down the field in their prior games.

Princeton took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They put the hurt on Naaman Forest with a sharp 55-35 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Marcus Flowers and Vincent Aparicio were among the main playmakers for Princeton as the former threw for 321 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76% of his passes and the latter picked up 188 receiving yards and two touchdowns. With that strong performance, Aparicio is now averaging an impressive 110 receiving yards per game. Jakeylen Perkins also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Plano East was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 539 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Forney only gained 382.

Plano East wouldn't let North Forney keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force four fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Marvae Butts, Judah Thompson, and Corbin Ahman picked up one apiece. Thompson is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made seven or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Princeton's win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1. As for Plano East, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.
