Baseball Recap: Otis Takes a Loss

Otis has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.73 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They came up short against the Haxtun Fightin' Bulldogs, falling 13-2. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Fightin' Bulldogs: they've now lost eight in a row.

Otis saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mitchell Stivers, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Stivers is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last nine games he's played.
