The Mason Comets will head out on the road to square off against the Fairfield Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mason is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.

On Tuesday, Mason was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 42-38 to Archbishop Moeller. That's two games in a row now that Mason has lost by exactly four points.

Meanwhile, Fairfield was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 52-47 to Oak Hills.

Mason has not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Fairfield, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-11.
