Volleyball Recap: Anderson Comes Up Short

Anderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mt. Shasta Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cubs of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Anderson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Mt. Shasta, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season.

Anderson has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Modoc on the 6th. As for Mt. Shasta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Trinity on the 6th.
