Providence Grove is a perfect 10-0 against Wheatmore since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Providence Grove Patriots will host the Wheatmore Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Providence Grove will be strutting in after a victory while Wheatmore will be coming in after a loss.

Last Friday, Providence Grove earned a 7-2 win over Morehead. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Meanwhile, Wheatmore unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 16-6 to West Davidson.

Maddie Nichols was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Hannah Shoe, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Providence Grove now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Wheatmore, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Everything went Providence Grove's way against Wheatmore when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Providence Grove made off with a 10-0 victory. Will Providence Grove repeat their success, or does Wheatmore have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
