Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mountain View Christian Academy). They put the hurt on the Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders with a sharp 18-3 victory on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Mustangs needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Charlie Quin was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Mountain View Christian Academy is 2-1 when Quin posts two or more stolen bases, but 0-6 otherwise. Kyle Smith was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Mountain View Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .703. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Mountain View Christian Academy moved to 2-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Bethel Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Coming up, Mountain View Christian Academy will take on IC Imagine at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Kingfishers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.4 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Bethel Christian Academy, they will face off against The Master's Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least ten runs in their last five games.
