Navarre is 8-2 against Gulf Breeze since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Navarre Raiders will square off against the Gulf Breeze Dolphins at 7:00 p.m. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.

Navarre saw some tournament action on Monday. They came up short against Pensacola, falling 48-25. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 325th, while the Tigers are ranked 79th).

Meanwhile, Gulf Breeze was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss. They took a blow against Niceville, falling 57-9.

Gulf Breeze's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Navarre, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-11.

Navarre strolled past Gulf Breeze in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 43-25. The rematch might be a little tougher for Navarre since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
