Recap: Broome Centurions vs. Boiling Springs Bulldogs

The Broome Centurions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 52-41 to Boiling Springs. Broome lost against Boiling Springs in their previous head to head last Tuesday, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 67-65 score last time.

Broome lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ja'Coreyun Broadus, who scored 11 points. DT Thompson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds.

Broome struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Broome has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Boiling Springs, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Broome is on the road again on Thursday and play against Blacksburg at 7:30 p.m. on December 14th. Hopefully Blacksburg focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 last Friday. Boiling Springs will be home for the holidays to greet Westside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Westside is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
