Volleyball Recap: Fort Wayne Wayne Comes Up Short

Fort Wayne Wayne lost against East Noble back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Generals took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-17, 25-27, 25-21.

Elijah McKinney paced Fort Wayne Wayne's offense, picking up nine kills. McKinney got some help from Jayden Harris and his 18 assists. Harris was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Fort Wayne Wayne's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for East Noble, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Fort Wayne Wayne will head out to take on New Haven at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for East Noble, they will be playing at home against Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
