Smyrna extended their home winning streak to five games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Elliyon Kinzer. The Bulldogs put the hurt on Central Magnet with a sharp 78-58 win on Friday thanks in part to Kinzer, who shot 65% from the field on his way to 33 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. His evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points.

Another player making a difference was Tyden Garner, who posted six points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Smyrna now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Central Magnet, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Smyrna will take on Rockvale at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Magnet, they will challenge Cannon County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
