It was a proper cat-fight when Leopold faced off against Meadow Heights on Monday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

While Leopold won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13, 27-25.

Rylie Schreiner paced Leopold's offense, picking up 20 kills. Schreiner got some help from Ashtyn Van De Ven and her 31 assists. Schreiner was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Leopold's win bumped their record up to 15-1-2. As for Meadow Heights, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 13-4 record.

Leopold didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Bell City on the 23rd. As for Meadow Heights, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against South Iron on the 23rd.
