Volleyball Recap: Brentwood Takes Down Ranked Buford

Brentwood is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Buford. The Bruins sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Wolves. The victory was nothing new for the Bruins as they're now sitting on three straight.

Among those leading the charge was Queen Howse, who had nine digs and three aces. Those three aces gave her a new career-high.

Brentwood's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Buford, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-1.

Brentwood has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Mercy on the 23rd. As for Buford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Greater Atlanta Christian on the 27th.
