Los Altos extended their losing streak  to seven  on Monday, dropping them down to 1-7. They fell  28-19 to the St. Lucy's Regents. On the bright side, the 19- point  effort marked the Conquerors' highest-scoring  contest to date.
As for St. Lucy's, the  win was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-7. The  victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.3 points on average over those games.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Lucy's to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Emma Ramirez, who threw for 164 yards and four  touchdowns, and also rushed for 110 yards on only ten carries. With that strong performance,  Ramirez is now averaging an impressive 100.4  rushing yards per game. St. Lucy's leading receiver  Megan Cortes was  Ramirez's top target yet again, picking up 76 receiving yards and a pair of  scores, while also rushing for 40 yards.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Los Altos will square off against Burroughs at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday. As for St. Lucy's, they will be playing at home against Pomona  at 7:15  p.m.  on Wednesday.
