Basketball Recap: Dominion Christian Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

Dominion Christian won the last time they faced The Stonehaven School, and Kaden Cooke did his part to make sure it happened again. The Dominion Christian Knights claimed a resounding 70-18 victory over The Stonehaven School Knights thanks in part to Cooke, who went 10 of 14 en route to 20 points and seven boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Dominion Christian pushed their record up to 13-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for The Stonehaven School, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.

Dominion Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against The King's Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The King's Academy will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Dominion Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for The Stonehaven School, they will head out on the road to square off against Praise Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Praise Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
