            Softball Recap: Steele Comets vs. Perrysburg Yellow Jackets        
        
		
        
        
            It was a good run, but  Steele unfortunately witnessed the end of their  five-game winning streak on Saturday. They took  a  5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Perrysburg Yellow Jackets. Having soared to a lofty 15  runs in the game before, the Comets couldn't push the score so high this time.

 Karina Shuster spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned  (and one unearned) runs on eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.

Steele's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Perrysburg, the  victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 13-1.
 Steele didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  5-3  win against Marlington on the 26th. As for Perrysburg, they will face off against Napoleon at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
