Basketball Game Preview: Randle Lions vs. Victoria East Titans

The Randle Lions will square off against the Victoria East Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Randle will be strutting in after a victory while Victoria East will be coming in after a defeat.

Victoria East is hoping to do what Fort Bend Kempner couldn't on Tuesday: put an end to Randle's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Randle had just enough and edged Fort Bend Kempner out 50-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted since December 3, 2024.

Randle got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jarrett Franklin out in front who posted seven points. Another player making a difference was Yanni Ibikunle, who had eight points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Meanwhile, Victoria East lost to Fort Bend Kempner on the road by a 60-45 margin on Friday.

Victoria East's loss dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Randle, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season.
