College Prep of America falls despite big games from Hamzah Shouman and Ibrahim Elagha

The College Prep of America Thunder lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on on Saturday was a bit more commanding. They suffered a rough 61-41 loss at the hands of Montini Catholic. College Prep of America has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

College Prep of America's loss came despite strong showings from Ibrahim Elagha and Hamzah Shouman. Elagha scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Shouman almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.

College Prep of America has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-17 record this season. As for Montini Catholic, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-18.

College Prep of America will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hinsdale Adventist Academy at 5:30 p.m. College Prep of America is facing Hinsdale Adventist Academy at the right time seeing as Hinsdale Adventist Academy is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. Montini Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
