Soccer Recap: St. Stephens Takes a Loss

St. Stephens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Hickory Red Tornadoes, falling 3-0. The matchup was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for St. Stephens it sure didn't stay that way.

St. Stephens' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Hickory, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1-1.

Coming up, St. Stephens will be playing in front of their home fans against T.C. Roberson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hickory, they will challenge East Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hickory's defense better be ready for this one: East Lincoln have averaged an impressive 3.8 goals per game this season.
