Football Recap: Ransom Everglades Starts off Right with Win over North Broward Prep

Ransom Everglades gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the North Broward Prep Eagles a 21-0 shutout. The Raiders were shut out 39-0 the last time they took on the Eagles, so the Raiders were just returning the favor.

Despite the loss, North Broward Prep still got an impressive performance from Ralph Diaz, who threw for 191 yards on 15 of 22 attempts, and also rushed for 34 yards.

Coming up, Ransom Everglades is headed away from home for the first time to take on Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Broward Prep, they will host Westminster Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
