Football Recap: Ransom Everglades Raiders vs. North Broward Prep Eagles
Ransom Everglades took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They put the hurt on the North Broward Prep Eagles with a sharp 21-0 victory. The Raiders were shut out 39-0 the last time they took on the Eagles, so the Raiders were just returning the favor.

Noah Alce had a dynamite game, rushing for 168 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. Those two rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Matthew Guevara was another key player, throwing for 174 yards and one TD.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Ransom Everglades' defense and their three sacks. Edwin Carr was especially locked on to North Broward Prep's QB and sacked him twice.
Despite the loss, North Broward Prep still got an impressive performance from Ralph Diaz, who threw for 191 yards on 15 of 22 attempts, and also rushed for 34 yards.
Ransom Everglades has already played their next matchup, a 9-7 loss against Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) on the 28th. As for North Broward Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 31-14 win against Westminster Academy on the 29th.
