Soccer Recap: Tuscaloosa Academy Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Tuscaloosa Academy couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Lee-Scott Academy Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. Tuscaloosa Academy were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lee-Scott Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2022.

Tuscaloosa Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Lee-Scott Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Tuscaloosa Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lee-Scott Academy, they will challenge Houston Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Houston Academy will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Lee-Scott Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
