Volleyball Recap: Innovation Academy Takes a Loss

Innovation Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Whittier RVT Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Innovation Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Whittier RVT, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Innovation Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Lowell Catholic at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Whittier RVT will challenge rival Shawsheen Valley Tech at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
