Softball Recap: Gleason Comes Up Short

Gleason was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 10-5 to the Clarksburg Rockets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-2 last Monday.

Gleason's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Clarksburg, their record now sits at 3-1.

Looking ahead, Gleason will face off against West Carroll at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Clarksburg, they will square off against Milan at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Milan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.5 runs per game this season.
