Volleyball Recap: Wooster Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

Wooster had won 11 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they bumped up to 4-0 to make it 12. They won by a set and slipped past the Dover Crimson Tornadoes 3-2. This was payback for the Generals, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Sara Snowbarger paced Wooster's offense, picking up 29 kills. Snowbarger got some help from Bri Hewitt and her 46 assists. Snowbarger was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

As for Dover, their loss dropped their record down to 5-1. The loss put an end to their undefeated start to the season.

Despite the loss, Dover still got an impressive performance from Meghan Ravine, who had nine digs and one assist.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wooster will square off against rival Lexington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Dover is set to take on their familiar foe Ashland at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
