Soccer Game Preview: Hickman County vs. McKenzie

The Hickman County Bulldogs will head out to challenge the McKenzie Rebels at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hickman County took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Waverly Central a 7-0 shutout. Hickman County haven't had any issues with Waverly Central recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, McKenzie waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Golden Tornadoes.

Joantony Hernandez and Guillermo Hickman scored both of McKenzie's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

McKenzie pushed their record up to 4-1-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three matches. As for Hickman County, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
