Volleyball Recap: Cair Paravel Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Cair Paravel, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Lyndon Tigers by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Cair Paravel never let Lyndon on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-19.

Karsyn Hastert paced Cair Paravel's offense, picking up 18 kills. Hastert got some help from Clare Everhart and her 27 assists. Becca Gateley controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cair Paravel pushed their record up to 16-12 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Lyndon, their loss dropped their record down to 20-16.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Cair Paravel beat the Tigers by a score of 2-0 later that day.
