Baseball Recap: Hill School Comes Up Short

Hill School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Peddie Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-5 last Wednesday.

Joey Moore made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season.

Hill School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Peddie, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-1-1.

While Hill School had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
