Volleyball Recap: Clarkton Takes a Loss

Clarkton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Pemiscot Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

When it comes to explaining why Clarkton lost, don't look at Tabitha Rivera. Despite the final result, she had 27 digs and two aces.

Clarkton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-23-1. As for North Pemiscot, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-8-2.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Clarkton and Campbell will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Pemiscot, they are taking a road trip to take on Malden at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
