Softball Recap: Butte Central Catholic Maroons vs. Three Forks Wolves
Butte Central Catholic kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 15-0 walloping at the hands of the Three Forks Wolves.
For Three Forks' part, Nova Ervin was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Maycee Church, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
The victory (which was Three Forks' sixth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.
Butte Central Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Three Forks, they will head out on the road to face off against Anaconda at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
