Football Recap: Oxford Chargers vs. Tupelo Golden Wave

After flying high against Lafayette last Friday, Oxford came back down to earth. The Chargers fell 20-13 to the Tupelo Golden Wave on Friday. The game was a 13-13 toss-up at halftime, but the Chargers couldn't quite close it out.

Drew Dean and Kingston Gregory certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Dean threw for 124 yards and one touchdown, while Gregory picked up 63 receiving yards and one TD.

Having lost for the first time this season, Oxford fell to 3-1. As for Tupelo, their record now sits at 4-0.
