Laguna Creek lost to Monterey Trail back in April, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Cardinals put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 12-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.
Nikiya Jumpingbull tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Aundrea Jackson, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Kate Saxton was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
