Softball Recap: Cibola Find Success

It was a proper cat-fight when Cibola duked it out with Robertson on Saturday. Cibola sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over Robertson. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

The team relied heavily on Gabrielle Moncada, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Cibola hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in seven consecutive matchups.

Cibola's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Robertson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Cibola has already played their next game, a 10-9 defeat against Los Lunas on the 29th. As for Robertson, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-0 loss against Farmington on the 29th.
