Softball Recap: Woodsboro Picks Up 15th Straight Win at Home

Woodsboro had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Yorktown on Tuesday. The Eagles blew past the Wildcats 14-4. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Woodsboro pushed their record up to 19-3 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Yorktown, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
