Volleyball Recap: Carlsbad Victorious

Carlsbad won the last time they faced Patrick Henry and things went their way on Saturday too. The Lancers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Patriots, sneaking past 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.

Despite the loss, Patrick Henry saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Natalie Rynard had seven digs and two aces. Rynard has been hot for a while, having also posted 14 or more assists the last ten times she's played.

Carlsbad's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Patrick Henry, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-11.

Coming up, Carlsbad will challenge La Costa Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Patrick Henry, they are taking a road trip to face off against Helix at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
