Horn Lake had won 14 straight games and Jordan Simmons did his part to make it 15 on Thursday. The Horn Lake Eagles took down the Oxford Chargers 75-60 thanks to Simmons, who went 9-for-14 on his way to 21 points along with six assists and five steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Trey Wilson, who went 8-for-12 en route to 17 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played.

Horn Lake's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.4 points over those games. As for Oxford, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-13.

Horn Lake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-51 victory against Southaven on the 7th. As for Oxford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 60-58 win against DeSoto Central on the 7th.
