Georgetown had won six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they bumped up to 4-1 to make it seven. They claimed a resounding 56-7 victory over the Chaparral Bobcats. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 27 points or more this season.
Georgetown was led to victory by Kaleb McDougle and Jett Walker. McDougle threw for 265 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, while Walker rushed for 153 yards on only 12 carries. Walker's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105 rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Warren, who picked up 96 receiving yards and one TD.
