Soccer Recap: Rolling Meadows Comes Up Short

Rolling Meadows was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Conant Cougars. While losing is never fun, Rolling Meadows can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 235th, while Conant are ranked 76th).

Rolling Meadows' loss dropped their record down to 2-8-3. As for Conant, their win bumped their record up to 7-4-4.

Looking ahead, Rolling Meadows will square off against Elk Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Elk Grove will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Rolling Meadows surely won't give up without a fight. As for Conant, they will challenge Fremd at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
