University Pathways Medical Magnet was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Alliance Health Services Academy. The win made it back-to-back victories for University Pathways Medical Magnet.

Angel Hernandez paced University Pathways Medical Magnet's offense, picking up seven kills. Hernandez got some help from Joey Peralta and his 11 assists. Peralta was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

University Pathways Medical Magnet's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Alliance Health Services Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
