Soccer Game Preview: High Tech NC vs. Gompers Prep Academy

High Tech NC is 0-10 against Gompers Prep Academy since January of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Raptor will take on the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. High Tech NC is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Gompers Prep Academy will be up against a hot High Tech NC squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Raptor came out on top against Army-Navy by a score of 4-2 on Thursday.

Elijah Gibbons and Rene Villalpando scored all four of High Tech NC's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Meanwhile, Gompers Prep Academy fell victim to Sweetwater and their airtight defense two weeks ago. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Devils. That's two games in a row now that Gompers Prep Academy have lost by exactly two goals.

Gompers Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-3-2. As for High Tech NC, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4-1.

High Tech NC couldn't quite get it done against Gompers Prep Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2025 as they fell 2-0. Can the Raptor avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
