Volleyball Recap: Wamego Takes a Loss

Wamego lost against Clay Center on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Red Raiders fell 2-0 to the Tigers. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18.

Ryann Langvardt paced Wamego's offense, picking up seven kills. Langvardt really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with seven.

Wamego now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Clay Center, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Wamego and Marysville will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clay Center, they will head out to face off against Beloit at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
