Soccer Recap: Ware Shoals Takes a Loss

Ware Shoals lost against Abbeville back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hornets came up short against the Panthers, falling 20-0. That's two games in a row now that Ware Shoals have lost by exactly 20 goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Ware Shoals and nudges their season record down to 1-3. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 5-1 GREEN Upstate (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 63.9% over those games). As for Abbeville, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Ware Shoals is set to square off against their familiar foe McCormick at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Abbeville will challenge rival GREEN Upstate at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
