On Thursday Jack Brooks pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The effort also marked the fewest walks (zero) Brooks has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with less than two walks. On the season, he has an ERA of 7.27 over 8.7 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Brooks and Durant are taking a road trip to challenge Bloomingdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brooks has dominated as far as walks are concerned (he's averaged 0.8 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering the Bulls have only allowed 4.4 per game this season.
